David Glynne Fox's infatuation with the Anglo Zulu War, Rorke's Drift in particular, has led to serious study of the entire campaign and its aftermath, gaining a 1st Class BA(Hons) degree, a Master's degree and a PhD in this fascinating subject. It is because of the desire to share this passion with others that has led David and his wife Gill to create Zulu Ventures as a means of recreating this famous battle, and others of the Zulu War, by telling the story as a fully illustrated lecture using slides, photographs and artifacts.

Every effort has been made to ensure that the content of this non commercial web site dedicated to the memorials to those involved in the Anglo Zulu War of 1879 is as accurate as possible.
